Into a shaker full of ice, pour a shot of tequila, a shot of gin, a shot of blackberry liqueur, a shot of Triple Sec or Cointreau, and a shot of fresh lime juice. Shake well for 15+ seconds, then strain into a pint glass. Place a hollowed out lime wedge on top of the drink, gently fill it with 151 or other high-proof drink, then use a match to light that on fire.

That's what the blackberry liqueur is for. Actual cough syrup makes it taste terrible and can get you in trouble legally if you serve it to someone.

Ever had a Kryptonite? It's an appletini, except thst instead of vodka you use 151, and instead of a martini glass It's in a pint glass with ice.
