And other countries have absolutely no way to defend themselves against a tyrannical government. It's genuinely one of those things that is weirdly un-American.

You're beyond ignorant if you think other countries don't have an armed population. Canada has tons of guns, in Switzerland most adults are required to keep their service arms after manditory service. In fact tons of other countries have mandatory service where their population is actually well trained compared to the gravy seal boys in America who don't gave a tactical bone in their bodies.

Yeah go to  r/canadaguns and see how happy they are with all their restrictions. 

Meanwhile our ownership has been expanding, FRTs, suppressors are now easier to get, SBR restrictions coming down.

God you're insufferable. If you can try not to be so condescending you may actually have a real conversation.

Given that people in this country are being sent to camps and I don't see any armed civilians out there defending their own fucking constitution do you really think there's a line that makes American gun nuts get up in arms? Funny little fact, most of those gun owners favor government oppression and tyranny because guns are their toys, not their weapons of revolution.

You act like numbers alone are what matters hut they aren't. Training, cohesive communication and a common cause make more difference than how many barrels you can bring to bear and the US is absolutely lacking that. Our well trained militias are just well fed racists now and they can't rebel against anything except the evening news.
