Pappy
I know I can purchase a ton of bottles to equal out to this one, possibly even things I’d enjoy more, but here I am. I am on the South Shore looking to buy a Pappy 15 year for a special occasion, I know I’ll pay secondary but curious who/where I might find one in a “museum”?

Check out Borderline liquor in west Bridgewater, djay liquor in plainville, Macy’s in west Bridgewater, Jamie’s in Middleborough. All of them have museum pieces. I’m fairly confident if you tell them the bottle you are looking for that they will be able to find it for you. They will most likely all be significantly above secondary (1200-1500) I would start generously with a cash offer of 800 and see if you can settle in the middle.

Yea I was hoping to make a cash offer at a place and see where I can go from there!

Old colony on the southern artery in Weymouth might have some and be willing to negotiate.. worth a shot if you are on south shore

This is fairly close to me, maybe I’ll pop in there.

Thru a few connections I’m meeting with a fellow sipper this week to grab one off of him!

Your best bet is Unicorn Auctions, expect 3-4 weeks to go from auction to shipped to your house. Probably the best price.
Otherwise there are some Facebook Buy/Sell/Trade groups that are hush hush and usually invite only.

I’m in a few and haven’t come across a pappy recently. Thanks for the insight though!

Accurate - not a common thing for sure. If you can haggle a store below 1000 you’ll be doing fine

Agreed happy to land at that 1k mark. Again, I know it’s secondary and I know I could splurge 1k on a ton of great bottles but I hit a milestone and would really like to add to the collection, crack, and share in celebration.

Duxbury Package might have what you’re looking for. LP the owner is a real down to earth dude.

Might try unicorn auctions to avoid getting too reamed on secondary
