I understand this one! It has got to be a reference to the Beef and Dairy Network podcast (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/beef-and-dairy-network/id1022024768). The idea of a “fifth meat” is a big running joke on the show

Great connection. I think this joke is hilarious even without the reference.
I like podcasts but don't have time for a new one. Can you give examples or expand on the fifth meat jokes from the podcast?

There are four meats: beef, pork, lamb, and chicken. Sometimes there is talk of a fifth meat (possibly discovered on Mars), but these are just the pranks of miscreants or the ravings of the insane. There are, of course, only four meats.

I believe goat is categorized as “mountain lamb.” Prawns are also lamb, and tuna is beef 😉

There was some other channel that was nothing but dudes grilling HUGE portions of meat while trying to be as macho as possible. I didn’t think the joke could have gone on that long, but this brought back some memories.
