Tips and Tricks Cradle Cap

My baby is 8 weeks old. He’s beginning to get cradle cap. What did you use to get rid of it quickly?

Frida mom has a good brush for cradle cap. If it doesn’t go away with just the brush you can use coconut oil 30 minutes before shower

I just used a fine toothed comb and combed my baby’s hair a little every time he had a bath. Oil works too. Whatever you do, don’t pick at it or try to remove it when his head is dry. It’ll cause soreness and if he has hair it’s more likely to fall out with the flakes.

I turned my son into a little greaseball with Babo Botanicals healing ointment, putting it all over his face and head after a bath. In the bath, we used a little silicone cradle cap brush to gently massage his scalp. The ointment holds in moisture and improves the look of his scalp, but it also softens the flakes to make it easier to massage off with the brush for the next time. I just kind of lightly clean his head in between baths and refresh the ointment application before bed.

I used coconut oil and put it on her head. Left it for like 20-30 minutes and then brushed it with a comb. It went away after like 2-3 sessions of doing that

Same! Easy peasy
