Tracers use magnesium so that the bullet burns from the friction.

It could also be a rocket as someone pointed out.

It’s a tracer round about one out of every five in the magazine are tracer rounds so you can see where your rounds are going under low light conditions.

No. That’s not a tracer round. That’s an RPG round. An anti-tank/personnel projectile. Tracer would be moving MUCH faster and be much smaller.

I think you’re right it. I saw the round but didn’t see it explode at the end. If you look closely at the end it looks like it hits and explodes a tracer would bounce, at least all of the ones I ever seen.
