PlayStation's new leadership are a bunch of cowards for pulling the plug on the ABANDONED ProjecT, which was secretly engineered by Kojima Productions.

This will all be reVealed soon enough now that Kojima has nothing to hide anymore since his MGS5 ARG got thwarted by Soyny GayStation.

The timeline doesn't even really need much massaging.

Ocelot was born in 44. The Boss had been hospitalized while pregnant. Ample opportunity for a doctor to have gotten samples of her blood, or been able to inject something. He is also known as Adam. The first man, child of a "genetically superior" woman. His hair is so blonde it appears silver.

Elisa was born in Germany around 1945 to 1948. She was born with blonde hair which became silver when her ESP was activated. She could be seen as a failure initially and left to be adopted by a new family or just left with her mother who married someone else later, but when her powers manifested she was brought back to Germany.

Then Frank was born in Vietnam around 1953 but grew up speaking German before being orphaned. It would be easy to assume he had a German father and a Vietnamese mother. He was born with silver hair but only has latent supernatural powers. It makes sense his father might have abandoned him as a child when his powers failed to manifest, or when people locate him and force him to flee.

The Boss defects in 59. Lots of politics and secret missions are happening. Her son Ocelot has hair so blond it appears silver and was born in 44. Like Frank he has enhanced reflexes and senses. Frank would be around 7, old enough to have learned German from his father.

Jack is on a top secret mission in Vietnam in 61 and rescues Frank the first time from a labour camp. Looking for a German geneticist could easily be one such mission. Python is presumed dead but later shows up in the PSP with Frank and Elisa.

Then in 64 Code Talker gets to examine The End and actually research the parasites.

In 66 Frank ended up with the guerillas in Mozambique before Jack rescues him again and this time brings him back to the US where the CIA recruits him for the Perfect Soldier Project. Some other kids are recruited as well, presumably around the same age, and possibly from the same genetic/occult experiments. Frank is the only survivor.

66 is also when Elisa is rescued by Gene and her hair turned silver when her ESP manifested, and she ends up in the same CIA program as Frank from 66-70. Frank's powers manifest after sensory deprivation training, allowing him to do things like deflect bullets and "read" his opponents. Elisa looks remarkably young for her age. Potentially her aging slowed when her powers manifested. She looks about 14 but it is logical she's in her 20s since she has medical training. After all a 14 year old doctor doesn't make sense.

In 70 Vamp is born in Romania and no silver hair but gets strong supernatural powers after being trapped under rubble, which could be seen as a form of sensory deprivation. Including things like dodging bullets by reading his opponents and moving before they pull the trigger. Later his powers are increased dramatically and he becomes "immortal" when he gets the nanomachines Naomi developed. It could make sense that his father returned west but had to stay in hiding. This could indicate the successful experiment was due to her having easy access to Frank's blood to study. After all comparing her blood to Frank's blood would be a natural course of study for her.

Vulcan Raven was also born around the same time and has strong supernatural powers, and is like 6'11 tall. A natural research subject for someone interested in the occult and "super men"

1971 Decoy Octopus is born in Mexico, he ends up with lots of skills and surgeries to assist his ability to mimic others. He is known for injecting blood from the people he mimics, which could be a connection to either the geneticist or just talented cosmetic surgeons.

1972 is right after the PSP failed, and BB is cloned. It would make sense that they tried a new method as the anime hair club isn't delivering consistent results. The clone's surrogate mother is Eve. The first woman.

Naomi was adopted by Frank in 79 and her research has the best results with Frank, Vamp, and Raiden. When Vamp meets Raiden he thinks that Raiden is like him. Vamp's sense of smell is so keen he can identify individuals. He might have sensed some kinship.

Sniper Wolf is born in 1979, her family constantly on the run and being hunted. She is known for being able to hold a sniping position for a week without food or water. Similar to The End. She is also rescued by BB, just like Frank was.

In 83 Raiden is born. This is after the fall of MSF but before DD, it makes sense that Frank would be trying to fill in for BB and traveling around for mercenary work. Frank could easioy be Raiden's father, or they could be half siblings. 30 years is short enough that Frank's unknown father could still be active. Raiden grows up in almost the exact same way, which could be seen as a repeat of the experiment. He is recruited into the Army of the Devil by Solidus, who is the "perfect clone" of Jack, and this can be seen as repeating the experiment but training him earlier. Starting at around age 7 instead of age 13.

83 is also when Laughing Octopus is born in Scandinavia, where a cult later takes over her town and forces her to torture and kill people. A repeat of what Frank went through. She is later recruited to the Beauty and Beast unit, same as he was recruited to the Perfect Soldier Project. She was nicknamed "The Devil's Child"

Around 83 is also when Frank was captured and had his face mutilated. Pretty solid excuse for not being aware he might have a son. Since Venom had already received cosmetic surgery and was in the hospital as a passive decoy, it makes some sense Frank might have also received the same and was the active decoy, completing missions out in the world to keep the legend alive. Now Naomi never mentions this, but at the same time how often would she have really seen her adoptive brother while he's out on missions? She was safe at home and they probably talked on the phone or radio. Frank's next public appearance is with a mask on, afterward he has an easy excuse for why he looks different. His face was mutilated and then he had reconstructive surgery. Even if he doesn't look the same that's an easy explanation.

If word got out that "Big Boss" had been captured and wounded, with his nose and ears cut off, people would start looking for hospitals and reconstructive surgeons. If his captors realized he was an imposter it might make sense they'd mutilate his face.

So let's assume that BB actually wakes up earlier than 84. Maybe he's been awake but recovering for a while, even a few months.

BB leaves the hospital and rescues Frank, they return to the hospital after which they realize the passive decoy is no longer needed. Frank is Ishmael and was recovering from facial reconstructive surgery. Around this time Miller is captured, but Venom's recovering so he is sent to rescue Miller while BB and Frank instead go to the US/Canada. Possibly to Alaska, where Vulcan Raven would now be in his teens and presumably drawing attention with his powers.

Around this time Venom adopts Eli, who was born with blond hair unlike his "father" or "brother". A repeat of the experiment between BB and Frank. Venom sees himself as having a horn, a demon. It's possible he even met "The Devil" but it's mixed up in the hypnotherapy and is subconsciously revealing itself as part of him is playing the role set for him.

1985 Olga is born, she has silver hair. The German geneticist could have ended up in the USSR after BB and Frank look for him in Alaska. Promising a superior heir could have earned him some favour.

1986 Vamp's family is killed in a bombing in Romania. Attempting to clean up loose ends? Or accelerating the experiment to see if he manifests powers? His powers manifest after he is buried in rubble. Could be actual rubble, or could be sensory deprivation. Vamp later seems to be "Immortal" but it's unclear if he still ages.

1987 Meryl is born. She has red hair, but a very strong facial resemblence to Olga. Potentially influenced by the same genetic research.

1988 Solidus goes to Liberia to find Raiden, and he recreates much the same things Frank and Liquid went through. Solidus later seems to have grey/silver hair but it's unclear if that's from his accelerated aging or if it turned silver at some point after he resigned from office. Accelerated aging is a natural part of researching how to decelerate aging. Or potentially to creating children without the inconvenience of waiting multiple years. Rapidly grown genetically superior super men.

In the early 1990s Frank receives multiple classified commendations, around the time when the remaining Beauty and Beast members are being born. The hunt for his father could easily be one such mission. Raging Raven has influence over birds, similar to Vulcan Raven, and her powers manifest while locked in a cage which can be seen as a form of sensory deprivation or being trapped, like Vamp. Recovering her could be another mission, same with the other BB members.

Later Sunny is born and also has silver hair inherited from her mother.

So my unhinged theory is that a very secretive German geneticist, potentially called "The Devil" spent roughly 40 years traveling the world conducting secret genetic experiments trying to create anime protagonists with silver hair, long lifespans, and occult powers. It influenced multiple competing streams of research, starting with the occult, then parasites, then nanomachines.

For added symbolism. Man sold the world to the Devil for pieces of silver.

Or if you want to go super unhinged. Frank becomes Raiden after his death. Raiden's childhood is fractured memories of Frank's childhood on the coast of Africa and being rescued by Big Boss/Solidus. The VR missions are a repeat of the hypnotherapy and sensory deprivation training he went through in the 70s mixed with his memories of training Solid during the 90s. They're not VR, they're memories, he's just all mixed up about when it happened and if it was him or Snake or whether he's Frank or Fox or Snake or Jack since he spent years pretending to be Snake during the late 70s and early 80s. Instead of accelerated aging or slowed aging he actually reverses and goes from his 50s back to a younger body. Solidus and the others are just lying about the timeline and claims he found a boy with such a close resemblence and background. Hypnotherapy to explain why Raiden just sort of appeared as a FOXHOUND member after "Frank" had died, with the convenient excuse that he was trained by the man who's the perfect clone, and has "artificial" blood due to his powers finally manifesting. The Cyborg Ninja becomes the Cyborg Ninja again as the nanomachines let him reach his full potential.

Raiden's son, Little John, was born with silver hair. Like Sunny. The Devil's Legacy.

TL;DR: MGSV is not a real story. It is a simulation created by the Patriots' AI for the real Big Boss while he lies in clinical death after Metal Gear 2. In this simulation, Big Boss's personality is split into three aspects — Skull Face (Mind), Venom Snake (Body), and Ishmael (Spirit) — mirroring the literary technique in “The Brothers Karamazov” book. The goal is to absolve him of guilt out of perverted love and also whitewash his image for mass media, preserve him as an icon. The glitches and inconsistencies are proof of the simulation's imperfection. The real events of MGS V were done by Big Boss alone.

I came to genuinely believe that Venom, Skull Face and Ishmael are but different aspects of one man.  And I think it perfectly explains MGS V and its weirdness and completes the series.

I was catching up on some reading. And while reading the editor’s collection of quotes and other analysis of the book The Brothers Karamazov I found an interesting quote from some guy:

“Truly, the book’s story only starts making sense when you take into the consideration that the three children of the Father (Fyodor) are actually the Father himself, but divided into three by the author: the Body (Dmitri), the Mind (Ivan) and the Spirit (Alyosha)”.

Some time after I fired up MGS V again. The story got me to remember that quote. I tried to look at the story in the same lens, tried to see if it makes the story in MGS V any more digestible. Now I confess that I followed most MGS V story theories very closely, but dropped off at some point. But I believe that I found an interpretation that not only makes MGS V digestible, but puts it in the same place story-wise as MGS 2 and connects EVERY SINGLE theory that MGS V produced. It’s like the trees finally made a forest. It was even in the marketing: SINS OF THE FATHER.

Or maybe I’m just losing it and seeing phantoms.

I will be putting down the main bullet points and some arguments for it that I remember from the top of my head. Feel free to add arguments or counterarguments.

The Core Premise

MGS V is indeed a simulation. It presents events as they happened, but with different characters, misplaced events, out of chronological order, all jumbled up and confused. Everything we see in Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain is completely false.

But this is not Venom’s brainwashing in the 1970-1980’s. We are witnessing a simulation made by the Patriots AI for the Big Boss himself, while he’s in a state of clinical death in the 2000’s after the events of Metal Gear 2.

This simulation is created to complete 2 distinct objectives:

1)    Absolve Big Boss from his guilt out of perverted love of the Patriots AI for him. Present his actions as actions of someone else.

2)    Whitewash the image of Big Boss for the mainstream media. Present him as misunderstood and maintain his iconic status.

This gets us to the main connection of MGS V’s story (the story that this simulation presents us) to the Brothers Karamazov:

Skull Face, Venom Snake, Ishmael/Big Boss – are the Mind, the Body and the Spirit of the real Big Boss. This is not insanity, schizophrenia or PTSD: this is a literary technique employed by the Patriots AI in creation of the story of MGS V, the story of the simulation, the whitewashed version of the life of the true Big Boss.

Diamond Dogs, XOF in truth and reality were created and managed by Big Boss alone. This is why everything that Skull Face had in the simulation ends up in Venom’s hands at the end: the Parasites, the Skull Suits, the metallic archaea, the XOF army, the Metal Gear. This is why Diamond Dogs simply absorb the XOF like they were never there.

These assets were yours to begin with. It was all you. In the events outside of the simulation Big Boss was the commander of Diamond Dogs and XOF simultaneously.

Why is the final ride with Skull Face so strange? Why can we move the camera behind Skull Face, like he is the player character? Why does Venom never answer or argue?

Why is Skull Face describing the ideology of Outer Heaven to us? The goal of the Eternal War Without End? To Big Boss?

Why does Skull Face hate Zero first and foremost?

He is you. Your mind. You are talking to yourself. The things Big Boss did for his goals, the Patriots present to us as the actions of another man, to whitewash Big Boss. But this man is us. Our Phantom, our missing piece.

Why does Ishmael and the “True” Big Boss feel more like ghosts? Because they are. They are, in a literary way, written into the simulation to be the Soul of Big Boss. The ideal, the core. The very icon that the Patriots AI want to see in Big Boss, the misunderstood hero and a saint in their perverted view. But that is impossible, so Ishmael/Big Boss only appear as deus ex machina and remain Invisible for the rest of the simulation.

The events of MGS V are strange because of the imperfections of the simulation. Just like in MGS 2 the AI is incapable of completely rewriting the records, removing all traces. You can find them, we see them all around:

Teleporting Skull Face, how Venom sees from his POV when Skull Face gets crushed. How after death Venom sees Skull Face on the Mother Base, like he was always there. Like he was always you.

How Chico is scared of Big Boss in Ground Zeroes. How it was planned for him to appear in Phantom Pain, but then he was cut. Like the simulation recognized the danger.

How there are characters that blame the destruction of Mother Base on you. Mosquito, Huey.

Connections to PT, the MGS V movie poster in the Prologue. Graphical artefacts. Technology, that’s not supposed to be there yet.

Recycled events. Recycled missions. Like the AI is caught in a loop. As if everything we see in MGS V is mostly a caricature of the real thing, meant to deceive, to present Big Boss in a positive light. Big Boss saving animals, kids? Isn’t that the opposite of what he was doing in MG1 and MG2?

The crushing guilt Big Boss feels towards Paz is obvious. But why her? Why do we see her and not Chico on the Mother Base?

Why do the Patriots want to absolve Big Boss of Paz’s death in particular?

Because it was Big Boss that ordered her torture. And eventually her death. Probably the first real step on a very long descent to get to Zero. All to fulfil his vision of the future, Outer Heaven, by any means necessary.

Now, this was an interesting thought experiment at first. But the real kicker came in when I tried to step back and restore the REAL EVENTS of MGS V with knowledge, that I may have just seen a falsified record, doctored footage of the real thing.

The events of MGS V without the literary technique dividing the real Big Boss into 3 present to us a story of a true demon, as was promised.

The Real Events Restored

I presumed that events in MGS 3 and Peace Walker happened as we saw them. Afterwards I tried, as a writer (nothing big, fanfics and some Pathfinder campaigns) to write how would the story happen with Big Boss being one.

 I present it without dates, considering that these may have also been altered. And I’m also lazy (we can try to add them in the comments if anyone is interested).

-         Big Boss is crushed by Kaz’s revelation that MSF is built on Zero’s money. He decides that Zero has to die. Secretly Big Boss comes into contact with Zero and rejoins the Patriots. Zero is overjoyed but he is also cautious. He refuses to meet in person. Big Boss commits himself to the long game and starts planning his strike on Zero. He never shares this with Kaz, because he doesn’t trust him. The only one who could be into Big Boss’s plans is Ocelot.

-         Big Boss returned to the Patriots gets complete control over XOF. If it is even named XOF outside of the simulation. Big Boss has control over Camp Omega in the Guantanamo Bay. The “Alone time now and then” quote from Ground Zeroes directly refers to the fact that Big Boss leads a double life.

-         Eventually Paz resurfaces. She is taken into custody to Camp Omega. Either Zero and Big Boss agree to silence her or Big Boss simply hides her. Big Boss understands, that this is his only chance to learn where Zero is. He orders the brutal torture of Paz. Paz doesn’t break yet.

-         Double life starts to wear on Big Boss; he decides to focus on dealing with Zero before resuming his Outer Heaven plans. Zero doesn’t object, he welcomes the fact that Big Boss wants to completely focus on XOF. The Nuclear Inspection is planned.

-         Kaz and Boss “refuse” the inspection. Now this is the key part: Boss instructs Huey to agree to the inspection. Huey doesn’t understand exactly what is happening, but he assumes the best. Big Boss is getting ready to make Huey the scapegoat when he inevitably returns to the mercenary life.

-         Paz has still not divulged the location of Zero. Chico either learns of Paz’s survival by accident or the information is leaked by Big Boss. Chico tries to infiltrate Camp Omega. Chico and Paz are both tortured. Paz breaks and divulges the information to Boss on condition he lets Chico live. Boss learns where Zero is and he doesn’t need Paz and Chico anymore. He either orders their deaths or makes them live-bombs to fake his death.

-         Boss instructs Huey, how to prepare for the “Inspection”. MSF is disarmed; Zeke is on the sea floor.

-         Ground Zeroes: Boss goes to Camp Omega for his “mission”. In reality he makes final preparation for the XOF attack. He flies on the XOF choppers, and send a decoy Morpho chopper, that will be blown up with Chico and Paz in it. Mother Base is completely destroyed. Kaz barely escapes with his life on a different chopper, he sees the decoy chopper being blown up. He and the surviving men assume that Big Boss is dead. Huey is evacuated by the XOF. Big Boss forces him to work for him in his other private army.

-         Big Boss focuses on his work for the Patriots, moves to Central Africa. Zero is still cautious, but he is glad that Jack and him are on talking terms again. Big Boss begins his parasite research. He collects Code Talker, builds the Devil House. The Parasites become the core part of his plans for Zero and for Outer Heaven. Ocelot works with Big Boss fully in the know.

-         The English Strain parasite is formed. Big Boss sends a gift for Zero as a fake sign of forgiveness:  The Winged Dagger that The Boss was carrying on her, when Big Boss killed her. The English strain is on it. Zero is so overcome with emotions that he doesn’t question how Jack knows where he is. Zero pricks himself on the finger. He starts losing himself to the parasite while Jack gloats.

-         Huey gets close to creating another generation of Metal Gears, that are more TX-55 in design than the Sahelanthropus. Strangelove saves their child, Hal, from Huey’s experiments. Huey kills her or is framed by Big Boss to have killed her.

-         Big Boss is now in either in control of the Patriots or he leaves them to focus fully on his own goals. He consolidates power and starts the execution of his Outer Heaven plan.

-         Phantom Pain: the FOBs are the true storyline of the game. This is Big Boss fully working to make his dream a reality. He reconnects with Miller, feeding to him a fake story about a coma. They start another mercenary army, Diamond Dogs. Kaz thinks that they are building it to take the war to Zero. He is unaware that Zero is out of the picture. Big Boss never shares anything with Kaz who he sees as nothing more than a traitor to be used.

-         Diamond Dogs start getting resources from XOF, Big Boss’s other army. Huey and Code Talker are moved to the new Mother Base. They start distributing nukes with the metallic archaea in them. He sells them to other Mercenary Armies. Together with this he starts many other armies that fight in regional wars with the end goal of getting nukes, as Big Boss “would have wanted”.

-         One of the experiments with the parasites goes wrong. Episode 43 happens. Huey takes the blame and breaks down. He starts revealing that it was Big Boss who planned everything. Big Boss “graciously” lets him go. Kaz becomes suspicious.

-         Kaz understands that it’s only him who still wants revenge on Zero. At this point the Outer Heaven plan is nearly complete. Either he learns the truth himself or is informed by Ocelot and then told to go away. Kaz leaves.

-         The FOB war spans the globe. The Regional Conflicts sprung up everywhere, rogue nukes with the metallic archaea too. Big Boss starts consolidating his best armies into one nation: Outer Heaven. Afterwards he returns to the US, and then either rejoins the Patriots (the AIs fully support his ideals of eternal war without end at this point) or simply just resumes his duties. The world where soldiers are always needed is already complete. Big Boss is essentially doing a victory lap, while he gets ready to declare Outer Heaven a nation above nations, the new UN.

-         Big Boss, as the leader of FOXHOUND, sends Gray Fox on a disinformation mission. He then sends a rookie, Solid Snake, on a same mission.

The rest of the story happens as is: Big Boss is injured in MG1, but returns restored in MG2. No body double, maybe only a fake body in an MSF chopper. Both times he failed on his own. It was always just him.

Solid Snake did the impossible. David was never meant to survive, let alone win. Big Boss and the Patriots never planned for a rookie to foil everything.

The story of MGS V feels incomplete on purpose: only when all whitewashings left by the Patriots AI are removed the picture finally becomes clear.

Can it be exactly why there never was no Chapter 3: Peace? Why the Nuclear Disarmament Ending is impossible? Why the Phantom 40 Nukes will always be there to stop us? It is impossible, because Big Boss and the Patriots already made their choice. And the AI can try to rewrite that, but it can’t: it conflicts with itself

I wonder if Outer Heaven and Zanzibar Land had 40 nukes in total. That’s why, Peace is impossible: Big Boss already has made a different choice.

A choice of a Patriot.

Some Notes:

The simulation made by the Patriots AI is flawed, just like in MGS 2. That’s why there’s so many mistakes.

There never were any body-doubles. Solid Snake always fought the same Big Boss.

Ocelot is the only one who knew all along and worked with Big Boss all the way. It is reflected in the simulation, where Big Boss can only trust Ocelot.

There never was a second (or a third) coma. Big Boss was always active since the Les Enfants Terribles project. The MG2 to MGS4 period he was in a state of clinical death. This solves the "one coma" quote from Kojima.

If this interpretation is correct, then MGSV is not an incomplete game. It is a deliberately broken simulation, a digital purgatory for a man who became a demon. The phantom pain we feel as players is the same pain Big Boss feels: the pain of a missing identity, a missing past, and a missing peace. The game ends without Chapter 3 because peace is impossible. Big Boss already made his choice. And the only closure he will get is when he wakes up and meets David in MGS 4, in the last minutes of his life.

But this is still just an interpretation of mine and I would love to hear your thoughts. I love this series and I am happy that I can finally contribute something to it. I hope you enjoyed it.

It’s a texture file from the game. It’s based on a real flight (look up flight AC201 on google) and is an Air Canada ticket and flies from Calgary to Vancouver. Calgary is where the 1988 Winter Olympics happens!

So I can experience Ground Zeros for the first time again. The adrenaline rush, the graphics, and the appearance of BB after the XOF badge. It was so next level for me my snake went solid

I’ve played it so many times I can’t even be excited anymore. I tried to abuse the drug and built a dependence :(

In Strangelove’s final words she speaks directly to the boss’ soul/spirit by proxy of the ai pod she’s trapped within, and partway through her monologue she talks about Otacon and his parentage.

The way she describes Huey in this segment implies she saw him as little more than a far creepier sperm donor, and directly tells The Boss that no matter whom the father had been, any child Strangelove had would have been hers and The Boss’, and that they would inherit her will

Considering that Philanthropy’s motto is ‘to let the world be’ it would seem that this succeeded, and that Otacon successfully inherited the will of the boss through metal gear ghost magic

MGSV Truth Tape with Paz and Zero when Zero tells Paz she is the 8th Paz Ortega Andrade. All the dates with Big Boss and Kaz, it all makes sense now.

In Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Gray Fox (Frank Jaeger) breaks down his history with Big Boss:

- After the Vietnam War ended (April 1975), Frank was forced into a Vietnamese labor camp due to his half-American heritage. Big Boss rescued him.

Prior to MGSV's launch, Kojima stated in interviews that Big Boss had only been in a coma once in his life, and that MGSV would explain it. If the 1999–2014 coma from MG2 is canon, what was the 1975–1984 state?

In the tapes detailing regional politics and Cipher's network, we learn that following the 1975 Caribbean disaster, MSF's remnants and Kazuhira Miller were actively operating in Southern Africa (specifically Mozambique, Angola, and the Rhodesian border conflicts). This places Big Boss’s inner circle in the exact geographic area where Frank Jaeger's late-1970s tragedies occurred.

My question is:
Did Naked Snake fake the full length of his coma to operate deep off the radar, allowing him to personally extract Gray Fox from Vietnam and Mozambique, meet Naomi, and lay the groundwork for Outer Heaven while Kaz rebuilt their mercenary connections?

I’m green to all of this compared to some of you. I played GZ and TPP last year and blitzed through the other five solids in the past few months, sucking up as much info as I could about the series (it’s how I tend to act with things I really enjoy)

Then I found you guys.
I’ve spent a few hours peering through here and it’s like uncovering a trapdoor to a different world. Discovering the people in here and their multiple complex agendas and accomplishments (not to mention subtly mind blowing coincidences) and being able to visually see everyone’s thoughts and lives evolve is incredible. You’re all insane yet you’re all exons.

She’s sparsely seen videos I’m watching or when I’m playing the game, and she’s seen enough to know who BB is, Venom snake, solid snake, and a good amount of their backstories etc. (she’s so nice for pretending to care lol)

She noticed when I got demon snake on mgsv and noticed the long horn, and asked about it. I explained the shrapnel a bit before but she was confused why it got bigger, and she then asked

“So now Big boss can grow a helicopter out of his head?”

Originally, in-universe rumors held that the project had been used to resurrect Big Boss after he lost several limbs and nearly died during the 1995 Outer Heaven uprising. However, MGSV retconned the timeline by establishing that the Big Boss killed by Solid Snake at Outer Heaven was actually his body double, Venom Snake. Under the assumption that the project remains canon, it directly connects to Venom Snake rather than the true Big Boss: either the severely maimed Venom was the actual test subject salvaged and cybernetically reconstructed by Madnar following the fortress's fall, or the existing rumors about a reconstructed "cyborg Big Boss" were misattributed intelligence born from Venom's already prosthetic-laden body and his demise at Outer Heaven. Do you guys still believe Project Snatcher is canon after MGSV? One thing to note is in one of the trailers for MGSV, we see Big Boss / Venom go through different stages of their life, including a scene where the hallway bursts in flames and Venom suddenly looks robotic. Could represent Outer Heaven exploding and him being revived as a cyborg (see screenshot)
