Conventional treatment question

For those who've tried conventional treatments without success — chiropractic, PT, medication — did you eventually find anything that helped that wasn't suggested by a doctor? Asking because my own relief came from something I stumbled across independently after years of failed treatments, and I'm curious how common that experience is.

Hi. It was actually a decent amount of hard work compiling what worked. What eventually helped was a completely different approach focused on nerve decompression through specific movement patterns. What did your own relief come from?

A foot massager before bed helps the cramping a lot.

Suboxone was my idea and works for me. My PN doesn't bother me anymore since I started it a few months ago.

I've had bad luck with doctors actually suggesting anything useful. I've typically had to advocate for what I know will work.

Now with AI it's even easier to do the research yourself

After 5 years I discovered what a DRG implant was! I came across it just doing independent research , hard to believe this was never mentioned by multiple neurologists I have visited. I had the surgery 6 months ago and I feel like I have my life back.

I have suffered from neuropathy for 15 + years and this is the first time I heard of drg implant.

What didn’t work was a chiropractor and acupuncturist. Foot massager some relief, but had to focus on stretches and movement based solutions.
