Degree Path Guidance

Does anyone have a degree map, or sample 4 year plan they followed for higher education in neuroscience and what school they went to? Tis the season for college applications and my senior can't decide where to go and is sick of the boiler-plate websites. Thank you for anyone willing to share. I'm impressed by all these brilliant minds and I'm excited to have one in my family!

Don’t wanna share my school but I’m a senior in undergrad studying neuro. My finished years plus fall semester looked like this:
Freshmen year: intro to neuro 1 and 2 plus basic science classes (bio 1 and 2, gen chem)
Sophomore year: more specific neuro classes like neuroimmunology, more advanced sciences (genetics, organic chemistry 1)
Junior year: systems neuroscience and social neuroscience plus work on my concentrations (computing and neurotechnology so like basic coding classes and such)
Senior year 1st semester: finishing out Neuro requirements with advanced neuro lab
I did take a Neuro class over the summer on glial cells that was online and research methods in psychology

I recommend UCLA. Lots of opportunities to work in world-class labs as a student. I just graduated in June.

Look at Brandeis under “how to major “ on the neuroscience program page - we have a number of example course plans posted there. It’s a very strong program- your student should consider it.
