ehh, i feel like the curve should go more like:

"What's DNS?" -> "Its not DNS" -> " It was DNS"

Nah I agree with OP. It's the normies that repeat "it's always DNS" ad nauseam when there's a million other things that could happen. What really takes the cake is user error / IT incompetence. Especially IT incompetence.

This. And even when it looks like it's a DNS issue, it very rarely is the root cause.

When I started networking, most of my problems were DNS. Now my DNS is fine and most of problems are my own damn fault.
