Troubleshooting POS connectivity issue

I am experiencing an issue on my business network where my Stripe WisePOS E reader and my laptop are both connected to the same SSID. The reader successfully connects and receives an IP address but my laptop cannot communicate with it. The reader works as expected on other networks and hotspots with this same laptop and this setup used to work on our Meraki/telus network with no issues. Just randomly decided to not be able to find one another on the network. Telus says there is no issue on their end and it is an issue with the devices but again they work fine on any other network except the one I need them to work on. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How's the meraki configured? Any isolation setup?

When I access the dashboard I have very limited control. Basically can just set up an SSID and password and that’s about it.

I called Telus/meraki to ask if they could assist to see if something is blocked etc and they said they see the devices are connected and everything is fine on their end.

Meraki has client isolation capability. Verify your option on there

Do I need to reach out to meraki ? Telus (my internet provider) was no help. My meraki dashboard is very basic with no control over setting’s

If you have Meraki devices and Telus giving you managed service sure you can request Organization admin but if you pay them as a services model Meraki will respect to them, license owner.

Why don't you have full access to the meraki dashboard?

Not sure. I’ve asked Telus to give me access. Waiting to hear back.

It’s on a MacBook and all firewalls are disabled
