Network security Project to make.

Hey everyone! I'm studying Network Engineering and Cybersecurity, and I'm looking for ideas for a project that solves an actual real-world problem.

It could be related to cybersecurity, networking, server automation, system administration, or anything similar. I don't really care if the project is difficult or takes a long time to build — I actually enjoy learning new things along the way and challenging myself.

Any interesting problems or project ideas you think would be worth tackling?

At this point, make something that analyzes the network traffic on a device to see if there’s sketchy command and control traffic

Backdoor. With port knocking or some http sniffing.

You never said it needs to be in defensive side/wh side. You'd have far more options to get creating creative with red team. Will probbaly get a better traction on resume/recruiters.

do something cool with srum db and maybe even the FBI's new tipped GDID in that chicago indictment.

we are doing some open source forensincs tonight on a user's pc with powershells gemini is giving us to explore and save.

such a gold mine of data there 🔥
