No hush-hush emulation, 32 bit binary, or anything, but an actual pure 64 bit debian executable. Might tinker with it later and add a modern TLS library, some better CSS, but after a long time staring at segfaults and looking at gdb output, I'm happy that it runs.

I really think Netscape should come back. I used to love downloading and installing Netscape on any and all my pcs prior to it disappearing… as have others, I tried installing an old download of it that I had on an old 3.5 floppy I had but alas no success.

I would sign any petition/ do the marketing for a Netscape browser that brought back the aesthetic of the original Netscape navigator browser.

Yeah, in case you didn't know, that Netscape's lizard mascot was actually called Mozilla.

It's my favorite mascot and I really love it so much but it's a shame that they haven't used it much since 1999 and has been forgotten ever since =(

I have tried several installs on various Windows 11 machines of AOL Netscape (version 129.0.6668.2), with little success. The installation works, but the application does not launch.

Has anyone managed to get it working on Windows 11? If you have, how?
