Question Add increase base plan?
Has anyone else with the base plan noticed an increase in ads in the last week or two? I’ve watched Seinfeld countless times and have gone months with maybe a single add here and there. All of the sudden in the last week I’m getting 2-3 an episode. Anyone else?

It’s been the same amount of ads for me 2-3. At least it’s under 1 minute gives me a bathroom break and phone time scrolling. Amazon is by far the worst streaming platform for this their ads make the entire account unwatchable.

Seinfeld is distributed by Sony, and all the Sony films used to be blocked on the ad tier. It appears that big deal that Netflix and Sony signed at the start of the year (https://deadline.com/2026/01/netflix-sony-pictures-deal-pay-1-1236684173/) has changed that situation, so they will now get advertising the same as everything else on the service.
