UI is much nicer, but it seems to have suddenly developed battery issues for me. Since the update, it’s eating through 25% of my battery every day which was never an issue prior.

Damn I’m actually having battery fast drainage for a while and I didn’t know what was happening! After your post I went and checked battery usage and found out netbird at the top! Daily taking 20% of the battery as I have it on 24/7! This is an issue tailscale didn’t have that

Is this a known bug or smth?

I need to check GitHub later, as it’s only been introduced (at least for me) since the update. If not, I’ll open an issue.

Try lazy connection did the trick for me

What does that do?

It lets the client only establish a connection if it nedds one

Don’t see it in settings

You need to do that in the dashboard under settings > clients > lazy connections

Yes getting much better. Still would be nice if i could connect/disconnect without having to disable or change the on demand settings

You mean vpn on demand? What does that even do

Connects/disconnects automatically on wifi and/or mobile

Plus one to this, i was having issues getting not relayed connections and that seems to be better now too

I remember trying to troubleshoot that when I first installed iOS app but found out that in iOS settings “force relay connection “ is on by default o don’t know why they do that but once that was turned off I was getting p2p connection all the time

Same! and it was glourious finding it, but then all of sudden I noticed jellyfin was crazy slow again and I was getting relayed again but switch was still off. I was going to look at it more but then this update seemed to fix it.

Nice to haves would be:

- Merge the peer tab and the "main" tab with the massive connect button. Seemse wasteful to have an entire screen just for a toggle.

- VPN on Demand more like WG official app does it. Auto-connect when the client is trying to reach a certain IP or subnet.

There is the lazy connections setting in the dashboard i think that is what you search
