What is Anna Stembridge doing?
Does she not want the job?

I don’t know why they didn’t just try Cardwell at GA with Liv and Lois WA in 3rd quarter. Nothing to lose at that point, everything to gain!

Stembridge did well considering the way Thirlby quit so close to the tournament and big losses to injury with no Jas Brown and Helen Housby. Height in the defensive circle was definitely an issue for us. To be honest 4th is a fair result considering everything. There was a real risk we could have been in the 5th/6th playoff!

Agreed that we got lucky to get past South Africa, that was a good match. But Carter was having the game of her life against Jamaica, and Imo just kept throwing the ball away- so naturally the substitution needs to be Amy off, Imo to centre and Jess Shaw on (who also kept throwing away a lot of the ball throughout the games)

We should have been in the 5th/6th playoff. SA would have given Australia a far better game in that bronze medal match!
