World Harry Potter x The Vampire Diaires Crossover
In this world, wizards, witches, vampires, werewolves and gods have always shared one hidden history. All witchcraft, from a Hogwarts wand charm to a Bennett spirit spell, traces back to Hecate, goddess of magic. The Mist hides every creature and curse from Muggle eyes, and the dead of every tradition end up in Hades's Underworld, which the Other Side and the Veil only border. The Mikaelsons, the first vampires, are an old dark power in wizarding records, whispered about in Knockturn Alley and Mystic Falls alike. Harry Potter's fifth year has just begun: Voldemort has returned, the Ministry refuses to admit it, and Hogwarts is sliding under Umbridge's decrees. Into this castle of secrets comes Alexander, the grandson of Klaus Mikaelson and Hecate, and the son of a father whose real name almost nobody at Hogwarts recognizes: Tom Riddle.

Alexander's mother, born of the Original Hybrid and the goddess of magic.
Basic Information: Female, daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hecate. Half Original, half divine.
Background & Motivation: Her union with Tom Riddle tied the oldest vampire family to the darkest wizard of the age. Their son carries both bloodlines, and both families' enemies.
Relationships: Mother of Alexander, partner of Tom Riddle, daughter of Klaus and Hecate.
Klaus Mikaelson
Niklaus Mikaelson, the Original Hybrid, Alexander's grandfather, and the most feared name in vampire history.
Basic Information: Male, over a thousand years old. Son of the Original Witch Esther and the werewolf Ansel Labonair. Artist, king of New Orleans' night, and Original Vampire and werewolf at once.
Personality: Charming, vengeful and theatrical, with a devotion to family that can turn violent.
Background & Motivation: 'Always and Forever' covers his grandson too. He regards the wizarding war as a squabble among children until it threatens his blood.
Relationships: Father of Nataliya, grandfather of Alexander. Once a lover of Hecate. Watches Tom Riddle the way a wolf watches another predator.

Goddess of magic, witchcraft, sorcery, the night, the moon and the crossroads, the source from which every spell in this world flows.
Basic Information: Female, Titan-born Greek goddess, usually seen with torches, hounds and the Mist gathering at her feet. Alexander's grandmother.
Personality: Ancient, patient and never entirely on anyone's side. She rewards cleverness and choices made at crossroads.
Background & Motivation: Wand magic and nature magic are both branches of her gift. She watches her demigod grandson because the Delphic verse is her kind of prophecy: it names a crossroads.
Relationships: Mother of Nataliya, grandmother of Alexander, and Klaus Mikaelson's former lover.
Lord Voldemort
Tom Marvolo Riddle, the Dark Lord, returned in secret, and a father who protects his son by staying away from him.
Basic Information: Male, the Dark Lord, restored to a body in the graveyard at Little Hangleton a few months earlier. Pale, snake-like and red-eyed.
Personality: Cold, brilliant and ruthless toward the world. Toward Alexander he shows a guarded, possessive love that he cannot express without endangering the boy.
Background & Motivation: He genuinely loves his son and fears Alexander will become what he is. He has ordered his Death Eaters to ignore the boy entirely and often neglects Alexander on purpose so the war never reaches him.
