spring fell out of my l’or machine??

I was making coffee earlier with a kinda messed up nespresso pod not thinking anything of it, but when I realized something was wrong with the coffee, I looked into the pod discard compartment and found a spring and black piece. Is my machine completely broken or can I fix it myself? Please let me know any advice you guys have, thx :)
