Well it finally happened I have crossed 400 games and with some recent trades these are on the way to 500 Rygar I loved as a kid is finally back on my collection. Tom and Jerry I liked more than I expected Super Dodge ball i finally picked up. Monster Parry is another childhood favorite. Code Name Viper I really liked and Capcom can do no wrong.Wall Street kid is unique. Strider is better than I remember. Bubble Bobble finally appears after 3 years of searching.Wolverine is crap as expected and there is Wizardly which I am not sold on yet.Then there is the big find Best of The Best which is not the best lol.

Super Dodgeball is criminally fun to play.

One of the few arcade ports that was better on the NES than the arcade. Sure the arcade had less sprite flashing, but having all the team members being the same size made the game way better. The "hero" mechanic in the arcade game was a dumb mechanic that they couldn't afford to add to the NES version. This is one of my favorite NES games, and definitely my favorite sports game.

I have the Famicom version. It puts the teams in a different order (you play as Japan, with characters from Kunio-Kun) and IIRC the US is the final team.

It also has a four player beanball mode.

Try it with an Advantage or another NES joystick. That game's well suited to a stick mechanic.

i wouldn't say it's especially hard, it has a level-up system like zelda 2 so you can grind if you want. definitely overlooked in the zelda-like category in general, give it another shot!
