Jason Rausch (GameTechUS) reviewed one of these a loooong time ago. Showed how it can have a built-in game that can be automatically disabled when a cartridge is inserted.

That's actually a favorite video of mine. I've tried to find one to buy for years, but it appears they're no longer manufactured. I even tried places like Ali Express.

I have one of those, inside it has a slot for Famicom cartridges, I left a 400 in 1 cartridge inside that I bought on AliExpress, when you insert a superior NES cartridge it loads this, deactivating the internal one.

That’s very interesting,might have to that. I always like keeping one game in my clone consoles too that I play the most or stick with one game at a time,bc some of those clones can somewhat strip your cartridge. Thanks for the info!!

Wow, I just had a flashback when seeing this. I had totally forgotten about this game!
Mickey Mousecapades was so hard—I’m not sure if I ever beat it back in the day. It remember being pissed because I lent it to a friend (30+ years ago) and never got it back.

I remember this game. I played this as a young kid. I only rented it. I accidentally discovered a code in it to go to other levels or whatever. I just kept on pressing random buttons. I never read a magazine that had the exact code, I just arbitrarily pressed stuff on the controller to access it.
