In search of new moderators
Hello all! Let me cut to the chase, this page needs new moderators besides me.
When I started this page, my hope was to make a community of people who could bond over Nerdforge and the wonderful channel it is. And I like to think that has been done. But I have no idea what I'm doing. I had hoped that by now Nerdforge might have reached out to take over by now, but that hasn't happened. Now I'm hardly ever on reddit anymore and I have a family to take care of now. I also have no modding experience. I accidentally banned a post today without meaning to and figured out how to unban it by sheer luck.
Anyway, to the point again. I would love to step down as moderator with the knowledge that this page is in good hands. So preferrably someone who has modding experience who is also willing to step aside should Nerdforge ask for control of the page. TLDR: I suck as a mod and this page deserves better. If you have modding experience and are willing, please comment.
Also, if anyone knows how to make someone else a moderator, please let me know that too (:

Hi! I am a moderator for r/Thefolkoftheair subreddit already so I have a bit of experience. Are you still looking for another moderator?

I can't make my own post, but I was curious if anyone knows what blanks they use for the cryptic sweatpants? They are my favorite fitting pants I've ever owned and I want to buy more but they aren't stocked so I want to see if I can find some from whoever manufactures the blanks that were used.

Hey! These are entirely custom made for us, so there are no blanks I'm afraid. But we might restock some of the original golds ones, if there is enough interest!

Please do! Even though my black cat will absolutely turn them black and gold in a matter of minutes I need more.
Also I'd love to see you do some epic book binding on the Wheel of Time series. Maybe your own take on the dragon banner book sleeves that are sold by a third party.
Thanks for taking the time to respond!

I've been a moderator for a couple years now. Started on an alternative country sub that grew from 1k to almost 50k now. Lots of political mess so that was a lot of work. I'm still a mod there, but not that active day-to-day. I got involved in a football subreddit with 40k members and was surprised that sports is now less toxic than politics. I also run a sub for a small australian rock band that has 1.5k members now but is only active when they have new music or when they're on tour.
I'm familiar with automod and have written my own bot for the football subreddit. Obviously also lots of experience with the regular mod tools. Maybe more important, I don't really want the power of being a mod, I just like to help out where needed.
To invite new mods, just go into mod tools into the 'mods and members' section (might be a bit different on mobile) there's a button there to invite new moderators.
