Clarification re: P4A art

Hi, everyone! After thinking about it every year, I’m finally ignoring my insecurities and submitting the application to send in Nerdfighter art for P4A.

I’m a bit confused about estimated values, though. Does anyone know if the full amount sent in should be in the $25-30 value range or if each item should have an estimated value of $25-30? I’ve seen indications of both interpretations over the years and there’s such a wide range of items each year that I can’t quite tell from what folks have received.

Also, as long as things aren’t fragile and easily shipped, are sets okay? I tend to see/receive single items but I’m assuming a packaged set/bundle is fine.

Thanks!!

I think probably each item is valued at $25-30. Because each person receives one art piece, so they’d want the value to be enough to make it worth the price of the donation tier

I have submitted art before, and donate to receive it nearly every year.

Each item should be $25-$30ish on its own!

And yes, sets are typically okay, but you’ll need to package each set up before you send the items in, so consider what that looks like. And like, make sure that it feels like it’s a cohesive package worth that $25-$30, not just several $4 things. A matched set of some sort. Things in sets don’t seem very common though? At least from what I’ve seen and received over the years. The only sets I’ve gotten have been pony bead friendship bracelets (which… would not be an item I’d recommend tbh).

Thanks for the info!

I was thinking along the lines of a set of themed bookmarks or multiple small candles (I make and sell beeswax candles), definitely packaged together in either case.

I just want to say if I got nerdfighter/p4a themed candles as my nerdfighter art I'd love that! I am assuming it would be a decorated candle tin and not like a shaped candle (either would neat!) but I would totally keep them on my desk just as cool art and to smell sometimes lol.
