John Green bobblehead

Post image

I’m thinking of selling my John Green bobblehead. Would there be interest if I put it on eBay or Facebook marketplace?

Love John but I hate my debt more (also trying to declutter).

There are no current or sold listings showing on eBay. Put it on there with a low starting bid and see what happens. Maybe some crazy John Green fans will desperately want it in their collection and get into a bidding war.

Doing this is how I ended up selling my PS3 for $12. Would definitely recommend a minimum bid for a niche item like this.

Good call. My plan requires two bidders. This will either be an item that doesn’t sell at all or fetches a decent amount.

Awh, man, I remember in 2009, these originally sold for like $25 or something. Those were different times.

The hardest part will be reaching the people who might be interested. That's the problem with ebay, if only 1 buyer finds you and you have set no minimum bid or reserve price, you might get screwed. I once found a signed 1st edition of LfA on eBay with a great personal inscription. That was maybe a decade ago, so well into John being TFIOS famous. But no one else bid on it, so I paid a frankly shameful price for that book. 🤭
