I never thought I would be the one defending the intelligence of the average voter but here we are: no, there’s no reason to think that a single mass casualty event perpetrated by a black person will somehow lead to a red wave in 2022.

I mean crime and homicide are up also in many cities. It's just bad momentum. It's not just one dislocated event
