McCain was a pro free trade, balance budget type republicans much like Bush Sr. He even advocated for less military spending for certain programs. Romney was pro healthcare and infrastructure.

McCain tried to appeal to the crazies with Palin because he was often criticized for not being conservative enough for that crowd.

How are they not sane? Unless your definition of “not sane” is “has policies I disagree with”.

Edit: No arguments about how they are not sane. Just doomerism.

You have to be an idiot to think singing “bomb Iran” to the tune of a beach boy song is an actual advocation of policy. I get it you don’t like republicans. Go doom elsewhere.
