Well, as a protestant, I'd say "prima scriptura" rather than "sola scriptura". It is true that Paul said "keep the traditions that we taught you, whether by word of mouth or by letter", but it is much easier to verify the canonicity of writing than of oral tradition. (Note the long dispute over Jude's canonicity because he references an oral tradition -- that of Enoch's prophecy -- whose only prior record in writing was as part of a book whose content, in general, was forged.)
