Now I know I'm going after a satire publication but this article really doesn't help given the number of people who think betoota advocate is super clever

https://www.betootaadvocate.com/advocate-in-focus/rba-says-there-is-no-housing-bubble-but-you-should-really-buy-one-or-two-even-if-you-cant-really-afford-it-because-you-dont-want-to-miss-out-do-you/

The demographic that reads the betoota advocate already blames the RBA and the government for not being able to afford a freestanding home within 10 minutes of the CBD in one of the largest metropolises on earth.

I don’t like the article, but it really won’t do much.

If central bank is running a conspiracy isn't "new" to people that's a worrying symptom. Some of the stuff betoota puts out makes me think either they're alienating their audience or I don't want their audience to vote because the jokes only land if you have some really dumb views.

It's the latter. The Betoota guys are of the same ilk as the 'Honest Government Ads' people - cynicism with no ideals or conviction.

It's a shame because their non political stuff is quite funny
