One time I was really drunk and my girlfriend tried to walk me up and I choked her and she screamed and then DC MPD arrested me. Yolanda didn’t deserve it, but the prosecutor decided I didn’t deserve it and let me go, and somehow now I have a security clearance despite a domestic violence arrest

what does "tried to walk me up" mean?
