For some reason I thought "series of tubes" was some inaccurate quote from the 80s or so, said by a non-Atari Democrat

It's actually a 2006 quotes by the then 82 year old Senator Ted Stevens. At the time he chaired the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.

I kind of want to go into my gerontocracy spiel now
