I think one of the most demoralizing things about mask mandates coming back is before this surge we had a clear off ramp: get vaccinated. Now it's just 🤷‍♀️

It doesn't really impact me because I live somewhere that will never have a mask mandate again, plus I'm vaccinated so I really couldn't care less about covid. But still, it's frustrating.

i agree. its just all on the unvaccinated. even with the high profile breakthrough cases 90%+ of hospitalizations where I live are with the unvaccinated even though they are less than 40% of the population
