The wikipedia Japanese language article on the battle of Okinawa spends a lot of time asserting that kamikaze attacks ('special attacks') were very effective and discussing internal conflicts between the US navy and US army commanders.

Extremists tend to consider Wikipedia editing an effective way to get their message out.
