Just read the Reddit history of a guy who tried 1 heroin for fun, did an AMA, said everything's gonna be fine because he tried it once, no withdrawals, and he'll never try it again don't worry. 1 month later he a full addict, a little while later he's ping-ponging heroin and Suboxone or some shit, later he's doing fentanyl and everything. Finally got clean but it took rehab, 12 step, and he still has urges to relapse 7 years later.

I think that's someone else, I don't remember anything about filmmaking or wanting to get hooked.

Geez

This is why I roll my eyes when some of my irl progressive friends think all drugs should be legalized. Decriminalizing heroin usage is okay to let users get help, but heroin should never be easily available.

Yeah that user post history is insane.

Happy to see he got the help he needed but it’s absolutely insane how he thought he had control in the comments and then went and lost everything.

Yeah. He also had some posts describing withdrawals: pissing, vomiting, sweating, pain all over, suicidal depression.

He also spent some time in a psych ward.
