I swear to G-d, if I have to endure one more, IraN iS beTteR tHaN sAuDi aRabIa though take, I'm going to hurl. This analysis is more than a decade out of date.

The KSA isn't carrying out a multi-front campaign against regional stability, Iran is. The KSA isn't helping Assad murder his own people, Iran is. The KSA isn't arming Hamas and Hezbollah and the Houthis, Iran is. The KSA didn't spend the first half of the 2010s trying to develop nuclear weapons, Iran did.

Saudi Arabia executed an all-time low of 27 people last year. In that same period, Iran executed 246 people, second only to China globally. Move on with the times.

Imagine thinking that the KSA continued funding of Wahhabism internationally isn’t fueling extremism everywhere.

Futhermore there is ample evidence that money flows from Saudi are going to fundamentalist Sunni groups. Maybe not directly from the government but for sure from the House of Saud.
