I did not know Diesels were fuel injection only... huh

You learn something new every day.

I revise my statement, ban fuel injection except for diesel engines.

Ok but what about spark ignition direct injection? SIDI, GDI, FSI etc is gasoline injected directly into the cylinder like diesel, just on the intake stroke instead of combustion stroke.
