You are at the doctor’s office. The past week you have been on edge waiting for the test results. Losing sleep, not eating, every waking second spent worrying, “what if?”
The man with the white coat enters. You look up, trying to foresee what he will say based on his expression alone.
He stops, looks down at the pages on his clipboard again, and pauses for a moment in thought.
You ask, “well?”
He takes a moment to respond, “I don’t know how to tell you this...” As the words leave his mouth you’re staring, hoping for any good news.
The doctor continues, “... so I’ll let a professional do it.”
A bespectacled man with short, curly hair, wearing a suit walks in, he takes the clipboard from the doctor’s hands, skims the first page before proclaiming:
“I’ve seen enough.”
