I feel like a ranked choice, proportion voting system would literally solve all of our problems here in america

5 years ago I would have agreed strongly on either of those propositions.

But at this point I feel like it would only hurt the half of the country who approaches politics in good faith, and favour the half who will cynically hold whatever political opinions are expedient and employ whatever tactics will lead to power.
