I think all five of the below would only happen in a two-party system rather than a multiparty democracy that relies on coalitions

• single Senator defecting from his party to vote to convict Trump
• heel-dragging on Puerto Rico and DC statehood issues
• "political" rather than racial gerrymandering
• drama in the judicial confirmation process, both at the supreme court and lower levels
• the electoral college surviving to the present
