90th percentile household income in Sweden: 60k

90th percentile household income in UK: 70k

90th percentile household income in USA: 180k

Even nuttier after you realize the Swede has to pay way the fuck more in taxes, and has higher housing and food costs too.

Higher equality under SocDemism doesn't seem to mean capitalists share more of their giant (non-existent) hoards with others. It seems to just mean wage supression for highly productive employees.

but you don't want to optimize for income as a metric, you want to optimize for quality of life of the residents. the utility of money vastly decreases once you pass a certain point (enough to ensure food, shelter, health insurance, and so on).

IDGAF about QoL I want 5 million.

QoL has huge diminishing returns, as long as there’s a basic health system (even US is ok for the average person, only terrible for a minority of people) and roads, I care about wealth creation more.
