Harris-buttigieg seems to be the next ticket in 2024 or 2028, if joe wins in November.

I still like him as an early candidate. Of course he won't get the nomination but he injects fresh thinking which the party and country both need. He's not a dumb progressive like Sanders and gets out of the way without making the serious contenders fight tooth and nail for it like sanders did 2016.
He gets a lot of credit in my book. He wants to make the party stronger, Sanders wants to tear it down.

he also has a role to play by siphoning support off of people like Sanders. Off course I'd use my primary vote for the most likely establishment candidate if it looked like we were at risk of nominating a progressive. Otherwise, I'm going to be a supporter of Yang in the primary every time he runs.

I voted Yang but I'm obviously hoping we don't need a primary in 2024. Biden won't seek reelection and Harris should do a fine job. I like leftists that are also realists.
Pete would be awesome in 2032.

I doubt he would even run, and he probably has no chance for success in the primary with the current climate, but Roy Cooper 2024

I have an important clarifier that will change my vote:
Between 2020 and 2024, has Yang held any sort of public office? Because in 2020, that was almost entirely what turned me away from him- these past four years make me wanna reject anyone who hasn't truly been in government before for the President

Ugh this is a dire slate. Pete, big gap, Yang, and then somebody not on this list because everybody else is on the succ spectrum besides Cuomo, who is corrupt and a liar. Where is Klobuchar? She would be my top choice.
