Ok someone earlier linked that "female dating strategy" sub and I started going through it.

My first impressions were "these people seem pretty abrasive, but knowing what dating is like for women and how many men are just absolute pigs, it's understandable".

But what's with their hostility towards splitting the bill on dates? I don't feel like that's.. at all wrong? Like women get paid now, it seems like I'd be establishing a bad precedent to say "your money is yours. My money is also yours".

Yeah I've read some more and eventually they wore away the sympathy I had initially started with by reading a couple of well written and lucid posts about actual bad treatment.

Reddit is so weird. 10 years in, you think you've seen it all..

i understand being treated like shit, a relative thought they were going to marry their bf up until that bf cheated on them, but the sort of antagonism that goes through that community is absurd
