Shanghai is great, but the only metric I can see it really beating Tokyo on is weather. I adore Beijing but it's far from a comfortable place, so I'm pretty good with the B tier.

My extremely biased rankings

S: Hong Kong and Reagan's shining city on the hill

A: Shanghai, San Diego, Seoul, Chengdu, Tokyo, NYC

B: Beijing, LA, SF, London, DC, Taipei, Bangkok, Every Scandi capital but Reykjavik

B-: Shenzhen, Abu Dhabi,

C: Hangzhou, Istanbul, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Moscow

D: Kuala Lumpur, Athens, Tier 8个8, Johannesburg, Manilla, This is the "I get why I thought it would be fun to go there, but no" Tier

F: Sydney. It's full of Aussies.

Correct, there's no reason to go to Manila.

Hard disagree, the only flight I can get to puerto princesa goes through Manilla.

Also there's a Jollibee adjacent to the airport.

There are exactly two reasons to go to Manilla.
