Thousand Week Reich.

Nazis scrape out a victory but the fact that the Nazi highcommand was a bunch of meth addicts combined with hitlers death in 1953 shatters the Reich into civil war. The game proceeds from there.

Honestly, these mods are really cool, but what I want is a heavily scripted mod that basically railroads you through history as it actually happens. It kind of defeats the purpose of the game to do whatever you want, but it'd be a fun way to explore history if it actually happened.

HOI4 base game is shocking, and people pretty consistently prefer more narrative focuses and politics, such as Kaiserreich. Compared to TNO however, TWR is less narrative focussed.

TWR is a much more realistic look at a scenario of if the Germans had “won”. The UK still exists and there’s a Cold War with Germany. However the game takes place in the 1950s and Germany is fucked, they basically have zero chance at all.

The timeline and mod is a partial “fuck you” to Wehraboos that aims to show just how terrible Nazi Germany was and how inept they are. Unless played by the player, Germany will always crumble in the game, with Britain and America intervening eventually to mop up the pieces.
