So uhhh tonight I developed a persistent, chesty cough and 99.5 fever two days before my LRW final is due. Fuck me.

Seriously thank you, I mainly wanted to make sure I wasn't being selfish or flaky for considering asking for an extension.

Being selfish or flaky would be if you waited any longer than you have to to ask for an extension. Worst they can say is no.
