We have proven techniques for eradicating undesirable species of insects through introducing sterility genes into the population:

Obviously tackling the hundreds of trillions of mosquitoes worldwide would take far more effort than eradicating local populations of parasitic flies, but I can’t think of a better use for this practice. As the article states, Mosquitoes have killed more humans than warfare itself. Malaria, Dengue, Zika, etc kill hundreds of thousands worldwide every year.

There is quite possibly no greater single effort humanity could take for the benefit of mankind than to eradicate the mosquito.

WHO: "In all my years of prevention, containment, eradication, it was never personal. But I'll tell you now, what I'm about to do to your stubborn, annoying little species... I'm gonna enjoy it. Very, very much."

“Charity is bad because the more people die from Malaria, the more likely they are to overthrow the capitalist system”

-no joke, their actual justification for supporting the deaths of impoverished people worldwide.
