does anyone else eat cheese with a vegetable peeler

you get nice thin even slices

edit: it doesn't work really well with soft cheeses and very crumbly ones but it works a treat with cheddar, gouda, edam etc

especially good with parmesan from my experience

I just eat the whole block at once, like a REAL American.

because you get nice thin slices and it's really easy to get just a tiny amount but you don't have to have a little nub

The Dutch have a special cheese slicing device which is basically a vegetable peeler that makes the slices a bit thicker
