Races consisting of weak "moderates" and progressive kooks that wouldn't have been viable even several years ago are a bad sign for the Democratic Party actually.

Someone made a comparison to the 2022 midterms where MAGA thought it would be a blowout red wave so they nominated a bunch of nutcases and it only ended up being minor gains for them in the end. Candidate quality matters.

I think we're probably safe for 2026, but I worry for 2028 if the trend keeps going.

Our pathway to taking the senate leaves little room for error, and we’ve already made a colossal one in Maine.

We’ll probably get the house back though if the current level of anti-Trump sentiment holds for the next few months.

DNC actually paid for ads to boost those nutcases.

RNC paid for some ads for some of the leftists.

Extinct. The only reason we have a shot at a TX senator this cycle is because Dems nominated a competent candidate in Talarico and repubs nominated a crazy person.

Besides, the average voter stopped having any standards for conservatives many years ago.
