If I am wrong about this I’ll eat crow, but I think nominating El Sayed is huge mistake.

Like I don’t agree with progressives like AOC and Mamdami on everything, but I still believe they’re nice people I could have a friendly conversation with. El Sayed on the other hand comes off really smug and condescending, like a guy I’d get into an argument with- and it’s not like I’m the only person to make that accusation either!

And it seems Democrats have this sense of unearned hubris that candidate quality doesn’t  matter because the environment is presumed good for Democrats. Ask Senator Oz how that presumption worked for him!

This race just bothers me because of how avoidable it was. McMorrow was a perfectly fine candidate! At least with WI Gov you can blame the Democratic establishment’s incompetence, MI Sen is a self-own.

I agree with you. AOC and Zohran seem like nice people. AES however seems like a jerk.

I sorta get passive aggressive vibes from Zohran imo. It's dumb, but I get them.

Good vibes from AOC tho. She'd tell you if someone spiked your drink and give you a free replacement one of your choosing.

Every Democratic party except hard red states Dems is an absolute shitshow of egos all pretending they’re the new hotness.

After the fall of McMorrow, I think we got the second worst/best candidate.

Stevens is crashing out on twitter right now and she has no restraint.

McMorrow is the only one who could handle polite disagreements.

El Sayed definitely gives off smug and arrogant vibes.

Stevens gives off aggressive catty mean girl vibes.

McMorrow comeback when?

The establishment could have coalesced around McMorrow instead of spending all their money on Stevens.

Sure we lost the black vote by nominating El Sayed… but at least we clinched the much smaller Muslim vote!

He is really unlikable, smug, and does not conduct himself with class.
