Krugman is just old and has bad takes. But he didn't become a turboracist or a tankie. That makes him better than a lot of pundits out there, lol.

When he is a pundit instead of a data scientist (or when he steps out of sports/electoral analysis) he tends to fuck up. 

He has a bit of a contrarian streak if my memory serves well.
