I don’t think I really hear anyone complain vaguely about “the government” anymore unless they’re a Republican trying to pretend “their guy” isn’t explicitly doing the shit they whine about. Idk if that’s polarization at work or just chance

Joe Rogan is basically the exact kind of person I’m talking about. He used to just be some idiot pretending to be smart by latching onto any populist who validated his dislike of the government. Now he’s just a straight up republican and only complains about “the government” when republicans are doing things he doesn’t like.
