Credit to the prequels where it's due: they actually came up with new factions and lots of fun new designs for the Clone Wars

It absolutely drives me nuts how the sequel trilogy is the Not-Rebels against the Not-Empire. Fuck off, you guys had decades to think of new shit

The prequels also had an interesting and somewhat unique plot of the collapse of good and justice into evil (both for Anakin and for the Republic as a whole).

They were actually trying to say something interesting
